It allows easy signouts which can be accessed by covering physicians at anytime even when you are on the phone, allows for electronic charge capture which is sent immediately, and also scheduling patients for procedures (i.e. cath, stress test, f/u, EP procedures) via staff notes by your office. All of this is done electronically without a phone call or paper billing slips. It improves rounding efficiency and is a must have for any practicing physician.

The "Living List" feature automates daily physician to physician and physician to office communication as to the status of hospital rounds. The electronic charge capture feature automates input into the billing system, eliminating several 20th century manual steps.
